we're fighting a pretty serious bug here at the pierse house. lu caught it about 3 weeks ago, got mostly better, and then clay got it. and he never gets anything so i knew we were in for it. then i got it. clay & i are not really getting better, and luci seems to be experiencing a resurgence. it isn't so much a head cold or sinus congestion as a chest cough with chest congestion. as in no voice with hacking wheezing cough. fun times.
and coughing fits are especially fun when you are 36 weeks pregnant and have a nearly 8lb baby + fluid sitting on your organs. (news of our little giant is a whole other post...that i haven't gotten to posting...cause i'm too busy trying to be a good mom & wife while hacking up a lung.) walking up stairs with some sort of normal breathing? not a chance. if it was possible to induce labor by coughing hugh would already be out here playing. but he's not even close. so in case you ever wondered if coughing could cause labor...it can't. but it can cause lots of other unmentionables...that i won't mention...except to mention them as unmentionable.
